Project Description

The Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce (Swiss Amcham) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the interests of Swiss, American, and multinational companies. It helps its members to do business successfully in Switzerland, the U.S., and around the world.

The Young Swiss Professionals project was launched to better engage young Swiss professionals or individuals with a business interest in Switzerland in the Swiss Amcham of San Francisco and to create an active community. The target groups of the project live and work in San Francisco, San José and other nearby cities. This project is called „Young Swiss Professionals“.

The project was divided into four main tasks:

  1. Research & Analysis: conducting a comprehensive research to gain a deeper understanding of the needs, interests, and behaviors of young Swiss professionals in the Bay Area
  2. Create a concept: developing a comprehensive concept based on the research finding; containing creative solutions to involve more young Swiss professionals in the chamber’s activities
  3. Hypothesis: consolidating ideas and assumptions on how the planned measures in the concept can be implemented in the chamber
  4. Test event: planned and implemented according to the concept to validate the hypothesis
