From Podcast Episode to Publish Ready Social Content

Automating content distribution and lead generation for a Silicon Valley investment bank

Every podcast episode contains hours of expertise that rarely reach beyond the audio feed. Together with SVH Capital, an M&A and investment banking boutique in Silicon Valley, we are building an automated pipeline that turns a finished episode into publish ready social media content across all relevant channels, and routes interested listeners into the client’s CRM as qualified leads.

Initial Situation

Shawn Flynn, founder of SVH Capital produces The Silicon Valley Podcast, a show featuring founders, investors and operators from the Bay Area ecosystem. Producing an episode already takes considerable effort. Repurposing that episode into short form video, written posts and channel specific copy takes considerably more, and it is work a deal team cannot spend its senior hours on.

The result is a structural gap. The content exists, the audience exists, but the distribution layer between them is manual, slow and inconsistent. Reach is lost, and more importantly, so are the conversations that could turn a listener into a mandate.

Project Goal

We are delivering an end to end automation that:

  1. Converts a finished episode into publish ready clips and channel specific copy
  2. Routes every output through a mandatory human approval gate before anything goes live
  3. Publishes approved content across the client’s social channels
  4. Captures interested listeners through a landing page and hands them to the CRM with a lead quality filter

The measure of success is explicit and unusual for a social media project: qualified M&A leads, not follower counts or impressions.

Our Approach

The system is built around a self hosted n8n orchestration layer that coordinates a chain of specialized services. A no code interface built in Base44 lets non technical users upload an episode and approve or reject each generated asset, so the workflow stays in the hands of the people who own the content.

For short form video we made a deliberate decision to build rather than buy. Instead of relying on a commercial clipping tool, the team developed its own pipeline combining AI driven moment curation, automated face tracking, speech to text transcription and styled subtitle rendering. This gives full control over output quality, removes a recurring subscription dependency and keeps the logic transparent for whoever maintains the system next.
